WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING
How It Works
Also known as the photofacial, IPL is a non-ablative fractionated laser that converts electrical energy into light, to target pigment by creating tiny perforations in the superficial top layer of skin. These micro injuries stimulate the dermal repair process, revitalizing tone and texture and reducing the appearance of brown and red spots caused by sun damage or aging.

After about a week, you will see improved radiance and an overall glow. But you’ll need multiple IPL treatments to see a significant lightening of dark spots and sun damage. The more treatments you do, the more corrective it is. We recommend starting with three to four sessions, spaced 2-4 weeks apart, for best results.
IPL can achieve even more results when combined with other procedures, like Laser Resurfacing, Chemical Peels, and RF Microneedling. To maintain your results, it’s helpful to have follow-up treatments once or twice a year after your initial round. To prolong your results, get regular facials and use medical-grade skin care. Be diligent about wearing sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day, to prevent new sun damage.
IPL is a safe treatment, with few risks and side effects. You may have some minor redness and discomfort, such as a burning sensation, in the hours after your treatment. It’s also normal for your skin to have a sandpaper-like texture for five days afterward (or longer, in some cases). Most or all side effects can be prevented by following our pre and post care instructions.
